Bakes by Gina ..

I have always enjoyed baking for friends and family. In 2016 I left my "dream job" at The Woodland Tearooms, Santon Bridge where I baked their traybakes, meringue stacks, roulades.... to persue a career in Civil Engineering.

In recent years, having achieved my Degree in Civil Engineering I realised how much I have missed baking and decided to set up "Bakes by Gina" in Feb 2021 (lockdown). It has always been in the back of my mind but the thought of setting up a business was always too daunting.

At the start of 2023 we started attending our first Trader's Markets in Whitehaven Town Centre. 

 

More recently we have started supplying Hartley's Beach front Cafe of St.Bees with our bakes, so if you would like to try our traybakes by the slice with a cuppa whilst having panoramic seaside views ...

.... Our menu is posted once we have delivered and it usually changes twice a week.
