Full time or part time hours available, we are expanding into afternoon teas & we make all of our own bread so opportunities are always available to expand knowledge if that’s of interest.

Main focus of this job will be wholesale traybakes so sponges, shortbread, brownies etc. Each day is different 😊

The blue skies took us down to Ravenglass this afternoon for a trip on the La’al Ratty. From this weekend, you’ll also be able to enjoy Bakes by Gina’s homemade scones as part of their afternoon teas!

HAPPY MOTHER’s DAY!

What a huge success this year has been, we only opened up our orders last week. So, to see so many collections from @haigpitbakehouse & @beachroadbakehouse was incredible.

…. No more collections from my house! Unfortunately no more collections from our Bakery (unless pre arranged) as we closed our original cake shop in December 2025. Never did we imagine we would be in the position of operating two, huge, cafes… @haigpitbakehouse which we’ve been staring at through our windows since we started renovating unit 1 of 3 at Bakes by Gina! 💗

Experienced Baker – Bakes by Gina

A very rare opportunity has opened up to join the team at Bakes by Gina as we continue to scale up our wholesale bakery.

We are looking for a highly experienced baker with a strong background in producing wholesale traybakes, sponge cakes and seasonal bakes to a consistently high standard. This role will play an important part in supporting our growing wholesale demand.

Key responsibilities:
- Producing a range of traybakes, sponge cakes and seasonal bakery items
- Maintaining high standards of quality and consistency
- Working efficiently within a busy production bakery
- Supporting the team as production continues to grow

Experience required:
- Proven experience in a professional bakery environment
- Experience working with SALSA standards is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work well as part of a small, dedicated team

This is a rare opportunity to join a growing local bakery at an exciting stage of expansion.
